I just got an email from a friend who just made LtCol. I remarked that
now
he could wear the wheel hat with the "farts & darts" (clouds with
lightning
bolts) on the visor. He replied that the Air Force no longer uses the
wheel
hat. When did that start?

I didn't think I would be believed so I looked it up. I already had advance
knowledge because a friend of mine who is a retired major just bought a new
uniform to swear his grand-daughter into the USAF when she enlisted.
