Ritual in the morning......when the Blue Angels land the kids who watch the
practice go onto the frontage road to welcome them. That's John Chumley, a volunteer with the National Naval Aviation Museum, who's riding herd on the kids. |

These kids were watching the Blues land after a practice session here in
Pensacola last Wednesday. The Maine airshow sounded like a lot of fun. A friend sent me some photos taken from the center of the audience. On the way back to Pensacola one of the F/A-18s had to make a stop to repair something. Fat Albert also had to stop to repair the exhause pipe on one of the engines. Right now Fat Albert is at the hangar with landing gear problems. Seems they had to crank down the gear a few days ago. They are in Millington, Tennessee this weekend. Tuesday they practice here and then we won't see them for almost a month. Me, I'm gonna go to New Orleans, Atlanta, Biloxi and other places to sample the fine foods (red beans and rice, Dunkin' Donuts, etc), Tom "MWB" wrote in message ... Safely back from Brunswick Naval Air Station. They put on a great show and the crowd was the largest I've ever seen. GO RED SOX Mark |
