Military Fighters DRVSM
Is there a program for fighter aircraft to comply with the upcoming DRVSM
regulations or have they been compliant all along? Thx in advance, VL

Is there a program for fighter aircraft to comply with the upcoming DRVSM
regulations or have they been compliant all along? The only USAF aircraft RVSM compliant are the KC-135 Tanker fleet, the C-17 fleet, most of the C-5 fleet and the KC-10 fleet. I also believe a few C-141's were made compliant as well. I don't believe fighters will ever be made compliant as they always perform their ocean crossings in formation with a tanker that is compliant. There's a big push right now to get the bombers made compliant, but it is expensive. BUFDRVR "Stay on the bomb run boys, I'm gonna get those bomb doors open if it harelips everyone on Bear Creek"
