for the Russians in rec.aviation.military,
What is the structure and function of the State Committee on Science and Technology (1960s to 1991?)? Was the State Committee on Science and Technology under the Defense Industry Department of the Central Committee of the CPSU or the Military Industrial Committee of the Council of Ministers? Are the members of the State Committee on Science and Technology the ministers or deputy ministers from the following ministries: Assembly and Special Construction Work; Aviation Industry; Civil Aviation; Communications Equipment Industry; Defense Industry; Electric Equipment Industry; Electronic Industry; Energetics Power Machine Building; General Machine Building; Machine Building; Machine-tool and Instrument Building Industry; Maritime Fleet; Means of Automation and Control Systems; Medium Machine Building; Oil Refining and Petrochemical Industry; Radio Industry; Shipbuilding Inudstry; and Transport and Heavy Machine Building. Does the State Committee on Science and Technology worked often with the Soviet Academy of Sciences; the KGB; and GRU? Thank you. Michael |
