Default Airlines are being incouraged to merge by private investment funds!

Funds hedging against oil price rise, recession

Pardus Capital Management LP made headlines last month as it urged a
merger between Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. The hedge fund
owns 7 million shares of Delta (2.4 percent) and 5.6 million shares of
UAL (4.6 percent).

This is probably really, really interesting to those that don't
understand finance.

You're right. I understand finance ( when I have enough money, I buy crap)
and I found it tedious in the extreme.
