However, most sailplanes are beautiful even when they are tied down for the night. Back to the subject "Graceful Airplanes", technically in the USA a glider isn't an airplane. The airworthiness certificate states "glider" and you need a "glider" rating with a "self-launch" endorsement in you log book to legally fly it. Wayne |
