Default Physics of Banking and other Excel applications

After the discussions around the Cory Lidle accident, I put together
my own little Excel program, with all the equations for an aircraft in
a bank, to calculate the radius of turn, the turn time for any given
bank angle and speed, the stall speed and even the effect of a tail or
head wind in the turn on the radius of the turn, There is also a
graph that shows the turn radius as a funtion of speed and bank angle
with your selected stall speed. at each bank angle.

As you can plug your own values for speed , bank angle and wind, it
might be useful for students or even as a tool for instuctors.
Anyway, thanks to my mate Crashlander who runs the Straight and Level
Downunder Forum, I now have a site to host my various Excel programs.
The link below will take you direct to the download page. ( no
registration required unless you want to contribute to our forum )
There is some other stuff there as well, such as wt and balance
calculators for the 172 and warrior and a navigation program, called
AUSNAV, which probably wont be much use to you if you live outside
Australia, but it could be modified for other countries. It might
also be useful for any of you thinking of doing an Australian Safari,
to get an idea of just how far it is from Upper Combucka West to Back
of Bourke. you can just select your destination from a drop down list
and your route will be plotted on an outline of the Australian
continent with distance..........Well it kept me off the street for
while :)

Its all free so I am sure you will get what you paid for. I have
checked for virus's, but you know the deal , all care and no
responsibility! If you have any problems downloading just let me
know.
Any feedback positive or otherwise appreciated.
Terry
