That said, if you are willing to pay a hefty price and dig your way through a poorly structured, lousy edited and mediocrely manufactured book, you'll find a lot of useful hints in there.

That said, if you are willing to pay a hefty price and dig your way
through a poorly structured... book, you'll find a lot of useful hints in there. For a taste of the book, within the M-ASA Convector newsletter archives from 2007 (March thru December), OC provides a good overview of the 8 required skills for a competition pilot as cited by the Brigliadoris.
