I am trying to find out what this part is. Does anyone recognise it? If not this exact model then can you tell me what it actually is?

What does it look like inside to hose connections? Are their an rotating
parts?

It looks like an external thermostat housing, to me, with sensors to tell
the control to tell what it is doing.

I really only have thes pictures to go by so I don't know if there are rotating parts inside.
