InReach Usage, SAR Insurance Plans by
John Carlyle
I found a great site from a paraglider pilot explaining how he uses his InReach in back-country flying: https://www.cloudbasemayhem.com/garmin-inreach-best-practices-for-adventurers/ In my opinion it explains all the important usage information much better than does Garmin.
Point 6 in his...

Reducing collision hazard at contests by
Steve Koerner
Here's a conceptually simple idea for contest pilots to rattle around... I believe it would be highly effective at reducing dangerous big gaggles that happen during contests. The desirables are that it doesn't damage the sport, it's effective at improving safety, it's easy to understand and it's...

Power/Logic connector for a C302. by
Mike C
Looking locally for one but so far the local electronic parts stores are baffled.
If anyone here familiar with it, is there a source outside of Cambridge?
Thanks

LxNav USB hub? by
Jonathan St. Cloud
Just purchased the Wifi option for the LXNAV 9070. Currently I have a USB extension plugged into the only USB port on LX, then mounted on the panel fairing by my legs. This way I have access to the USB and all the data transfer without removing canopy to access port.
My question is, can anyone...

Becker AR 620x radio - seems a little quiet? by
jfitch
I finally got my new radio wired, the audio seems a little quiet compared to the old Dittel 71. Same speaker, 4 ohm as spec'd. I remember the Dittel being pretty loud, kept the volume knob set to the lower half of rotation. The Becker even at 100% is far from earsplitting, and maybe not loud...

GlidePort.aero - how to send a link by
[email protected]
I can't seem to send a usable link of one of my flight logs to a friend. The friend is not logged into Glideport. The link I copied from when I was looking at the track (and logged in) shows no tracks when the friend uses the link. A link to a search by pilot name, with my name, works when I log...

Dittel Speaker Box by
AS
Would anyone have a single line diagram for a Dittel Speaker Box for two microphones? Mine is acting up and I found one additional cable soldered in - can't figure out what it is for and would like to find out what it connects to.
Thanks,
Uli

Lark IS29-D2 owners and pilots? by
Jan Zanutto
I bought a single seat Lark and am beginning to build some time in it. Just wondering if there are any other Lark guys out there. I made a page on facebook as well if anyone of you wants to connect there.
I had some time in the 2 place years ago, seemed to be a good flyer for what it was. I...

Brazov IS29-D2 Lark parts needed. by
[email protected]
I have a 1979 Brazov IS29-D2 Lark. The rubber donuts are starting to wear out and get brittle on the main gear shock absorber. Does anyone know where I could get replacements? Either used from another glider, or manufactured new by someone who can match the donuts to the original spec?

Any interference from the Genasun LFP solar charger controller? by
jfitch
I've seen them mounted in various places, under the seat pan would be ideal but I'm a bit painted into a corner at this point and it would need to be mounted in the panel, fairly near the radio and the ISU for the Air Vario. They claim these are well shielded, but I've been misled before by...

Better self rigging system by
Steve Cameron
I'm sure someone has come up with a much more user friendly system for self rigging vs. what I'm currently doing. My new to me DG400 is in an older Minden trailer, which is tucked inside a T-hangar behind a Cessna 182(high wing). To get the DG out I first have to pull the 182 out, than roll the...

Komet trailer axle dillema by

So I'm headed to Moariarty from TN with my 20 in tow in June. I have an older komet trailer, for which I had just gotten new tires, which I have yet to put on. I took the trailer to a shop locally to have the surge breaks adjusted, tires put on, and bearings repacked. After about an hour they...
