ISO USED CONDOR SOARING SETUP by
Aaron Thomson
Just wondering if anyone in no longer flying on their Condor soaring setup and would like to sell it. I am looking to spend the winter getting familiar with my Ouide and figured why not play around with Condor.
Thanks,
Aaron Thomson

correction to strike protection by
john firth
Apologies to the BGA for attributing to them, the suggestion of inserting
non conducting sections in a control rod.
Apparently this came from Schleicher, who have probably rethought the idea
as being unhelpful.
Yes , non conducting complete control rods will help, unless you
have a carbon...

Wooden ClearNav stick grip by
Dan Mockler
Is there any interest in a wooden ClearNav stick grip?
The grip has an 18mm diameter opening.
The control unit is for a Becker 4201 type mic.
Best reasonable offer.

US Team Selection process for future years by
XC
I am starting this post to get the topic off one individual's personality. The 2018 team has ben selected as outlined in the new process. Claims that the process was not carried out fairly have no basis in fact. The Team has very little time to prepare and needs to get to work.
Here is a summary...

How do you upload a .cup file to iGlide now that iTunes has changed by
Larry Suter
The new iTunes doesn't seem to communicate with apps anymore, which is how I used to upload .cup files to my phone for iGlide.
Anybody know how it's done these days?
Appears that iGlide has been sold to another outfit. I don't seem to be able to find a forum for iGlide, either....

Found it, train wreck how to video by
SF
Looks like a classic mis-application of management tools usually applied to the IT industry. Obviously this is being used as an inspirational video.

Overspeeding on winch launches by
Dan Schmitz
I'm wondering what the consequences of overspeeding on winch launches are? I understand that it places stress on the airframe, but to what extent?
I find it near impossible to control the airspeed on the top third of a launch and have found myself over speeding the placarded max. speed by 5 - 10...

Replacing tow release cable on Discus CS by
Hartley Falbaum[_2_]
Our Club's Discus CS frayed 3 strands of the tow release cable. I replaced that part and we're OK for now. We have a nose hook and no CG hook. I'd like to replace the whole cable. The path is convoluted and goes over one pulley that I can see after removing the cover of the front (back when looking...
