hall of shame? by
Tony[_5_]
My rental PowerFLARM for the 13.5 meter regional showed up early so I re-built the shelf that I used last year at Region 10. Thoughts? https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/vPVToC5osaTqjvJiSAFYU9MTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink
Will probably mount the dipole on the inside of the turtledeck...

Tow hook max wt marking by
Karen
Simple question, but why are tow hooks marked, "1200 lbs Max weight",
like the Schweitzer type release, towing big heavy 21M ships, ships
with water, Grobs and others over 1300 lb gross weights? Actual
pulling weight? Is there an FAR? Thanks.

Nano logging issues by
Tony[_5_]

Gel Coat Cracks or is it worse? by
[email protected]
I'm looking at a glass ship to possibly buy that is in pretty good condition. The Gel coat was last done in 94 or so and is very white with no crazing.. The ship does have some cracks both on the bottom of the horizontal stab near the cutout for the attach post. It also has some near the trailing...

L-23 Front Seat Adjuster Pictures? by
JohnDeRosa
Can someone send me some pictures of the front seat adjuster
attachment points and adjustment method? The nylon strap went missing
on our club's L23 and now no one remembers how to thread the thing
together via the rings and things.
Thanks, John DeRosa

O2 Cylinder Sizes - What are people using these days? by
Bob Kuykendall
I'm looking to develop a standard O2 cylinder installation for the
HP-24 sailplane kit, and I'm curious what size cylinders people
generally have installed these days.
These days a lot of folks seem to be using EDS systems which seem to
offer very good efficiency at turning pressurized gas into...
