Grob II/Acro by
Kenneth Kilbourne
What causes the buckling/oil canning on the bottom of the ailerons and the
elevator on Grobs? I have looked at 6 ships and they all have the same
problem.
What's the fix?

Any Badge Claims Using GPS Position Recorder plus Barograph? by
Papa3
HI,
As soaring season in the northern hemisphere slides into our last
month or two of decent weather, I was wondering if anyone has taken
advantage of the newly approved GPS Position Recorder + Barograph
option to submit IGC Badge Claims. We at the SSA in the US are
currently backlogged with...

Dittel FSG2T Service Bulletin by
Grider Pirate
Paul has kindly posted this service bulletin on his site. I can tell
you that I am absolutely THRILLED to have to pay (shipping) to have
Dittel fix their screw-up.... again. My Dittel FSG2T radio was bad
out of the box when I bought it new. I paid for shipping back to the
vendor, from the vendor...

Caution - Arizona Airspace and Borders by
Andy[_1_]
Turnpoint Exchange includes airspace files. The airspace files listed
under Arizona Soaring Association were not provided by ASA, are not
approved by ASA, and are known to not properly depict the location of
the US Mexico border.
In the file asa_2010_sua.sua the border is defined by the...

Pawnee CO problem by
Kurt[_3_]
We have 2 Pawnee's, both 235 HP fixed prop. One has a problem with
carbon monoxide. We have checked everything, to include a new
muffler, tailpipe, exhaust manifolds. We have taped up openings,
stuffed foam in the gear leg openings etc. Still, we get CO in the
cockpit. We even put a small...

Possible Solution for Daylight Readable Displays by
folken
Hello,
I find this quite interesting from our perspective:
http://www.liquavista.com/products/liquavistaColor.aspx
This is a "epaper" screen with full color and capable of doing 60
frames per second. The e-paper has a physical property, e.g. there is
no backlight that needs to fight the sun.

Rigging Question by
Robert Fidler[_2_]
My glider requires a small amount of top rudder to keep coordinated in
a left turn. A right turn seems to require the appropriate amount of
right rudder. The glider flies straight and level ok with maybe a
minor amount of right aileron and left rudder. Wing incidence is close
(.1 of a degree)...

Blanik L-33 Solo by
Walt Connelly
Anyone wish to weigh in on the L-33 solo? I am in the market for a single seater. Metal is preferred because you can tie it down outside without the problems associated with glass. 1-34's are hard to find, not a lot of metal ships on the market these days it seems.
Can anyone speak to the...

Best instrument combination by
ryanglover1969[_2_]
Looking for some consensus of opinion on what is the best combination
of flight computer, logger and PDA. / soaring software.
Recently sold my glider with LX 1600, Colibri and 3800 series Ipaq
running SeeYou Mobile. I liked the set up ok, but there were some
minor glitches, as I'm sure there are...

Schweizer 1-34 Pilot Weight capability by
RN
Our club is considering an SGS 1-34 as an addition to the fleet and is
interested in the max pilot weight capability. It looks like the
handbook numbers are quite high, but we would appreciate any real
world inputs from 1-34 pilots or owners.
