PZL compass by Solo
I have a PZL KI-13A compass. The fluid seems to have drained out. I contacted PZL for information on how to repair but, their recommendation was to replace the unit because of the shipping cost. Is there a way to refill the compass with the appropriate fluid?

Retrieve Contact - Radio Relay? by V1
Most of the discussion I’ve seen related to arranging for a retrieve after a remote land-out has focused on either cell phone (often not available), text message (slightly better than cell phone), or satellite-based like ELB, PLB, & SPOT (only one-way, no confirmation your message was...

The HPH 304S Turbine sustainer glider by kd6veb
Hi Gang A year ago I subscribed for a year to RC Sport Flyer Magazine to understand the incredible technology innovations happening to RC aircraft and to figure out if some of these things might apply to regular gliders. Well the latest issue dated October 09 has a full feature article on the 304...

Levelling a grass runway by Jim White[_3_]
Does anyone here have any experience improving a grass runway. In particular levelling it without actually removing the grass, leveliing the soil, and resowing / returfing. I wonder if a routine of rigorous slicing aerating followed by sand / grit dressing, and rolling would do the job? Jim
