Removing 2-33A wheel by
lanebush
Hey guys,
Save me some grief. I am performing my first 100 hour on our club
2-33A. To save time I am asking the steps to removing the 2-33A main
wheel for bearing repack. The obvious items are remove brake cable
and main axle bolt. Do you also have to remove the bracket that
stabalizes the...

Parowan GNII nightmare by
Andy[_1_]
I attempted to configure a spare Aero 1550 for Parowan and got into a
major nightmare with all 3 of my PDA's unable to run GNII. The
program hung with the "loading files" message displayed. The problem
grew exponentially as I transfered CF cards between PDA's. After
tearing out most of my hair I...

Hi
I have a LX 5000 in my glider. I fly 60 km north of NY/Ontario border
near Massena. I upgraded my airport and airspace database to
USA_CANADA NE-E09 . In the previous version, 08, the near airport page
gave me LACHUTE airport in Canada 25 km from my starting point, now
nearest airport is...

US contest scoring formula is broken by
Steve Koerner
Over the last several years I've found it quite annoying that I cannot
read the rules and understand the US scoring formula. The
calculation of US scores has become encumbered with so many correction
factors, devaluation factors and the like that mere mortals cannot
relate soaring performance to...

SSA Car Donation by

Dear List ,
I don't usually post here , but I want to pass along my experience
with the SSA car donation program . I had an old Ford Explorer that I
used as an airport car and tow rig . It was in good running order
engine and transmission wise , but at 180K miles the entire brake
system needed an...

Cambridge 302 problem..HELP Please by
Robert Holliday
My 302 seems to work OK at 60 knots but when i fly 80 knots it indicates 10
knots lift (it is set up for super netto). The total energy is set at 0% as
per instructions. It is not set up for electronic compensation. I checked

Well, It's been about 1 year asked about where to learn to fly gliders
in Central FL on this newsgroup. Several of you directed me to
Seminole Lake Gliderport, and my mom purchased an intro flight for me
for my 37th birthday 6/21/2008. I did my 1st flight (my intro) on Dec
12 2008, and today,...

Lambada Motorglider Down at 5C1 by

Just saw where a Lambada pilot deployed the chute and descended under
canopy near Boerne Stage airfield. It sounds like he could have had a
flight control malfunction but this is pure speculation.

Aerobatics course in Europe? by
TeetJ
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a glider aerobatics course?
I am considering having a nice vacation this summer, travel and learn
new stuff.
I have about 400 hours of experience and before going on with never-
ending polishing of XC skills, I was considering going for something
completely different :-)
