German/English Aeronautical Dictionary by
RookieStar
After much searching I finally found a probably quite complete dictionary.
It starts on page 11 I think. I needed it for my old, newly acquired German glass ship with all its original logs, docs....
Hope its useful to some one else.

K6 rs232 to bluetooth by
PCool
Is this hardware anything different from what I can find googling "rs232 to
bluetooth" ? There are similar products way much cheaper around now.
We are testing the eBay stuff for 45 euro and so far it does its work.
Moreover, the K6 has got no batteries and need external power supply. It
doesn't...

Slingsby Skylarks.... by
George Ballantyne[_2_]
Hi folks,
Would appreciate very much if anyone out there could send me pictures,
information, histories, etc, of any of the Skylarks that may or may not be
out there still. Any snippets or anecdotes too! My 'old bird' (the
glider, not the wife!) is still going strong, I hope there are still a...

Thinking about 'Starting Anywhere' by
RookieStar
Thanks to all for those hits, I like to fly and read. Good stuff.
BB, do I dare say I find soaring perhaps more exciting than sex, at times?
Did I say that?
But don't forget, if you what call backs reading about sex while improving your skill always pays dividends!
Ho Ho Ho Marry Christmas to all,...

Racing - Thinking about 'Starting Anywhere' by
RookieStar
I've seen and read some of the soaring/cross country bibles and tons of articles including the racing rules on the SSA site, but I still haven't found a book, one book, that directly explains all that one needs to know about sailplane racing, from tarmac tie down positioning to in-flight tactics...

Start Anywhere by
[email protected]
I was reviewing some contest flights from 2008 and it occurred to me
that there hadn't been a thorough review of people's experience with
the new "start anywhere" rule - which measures distance on the first
leg from a start from anywhere along the boundries of the start
cylinder.
I general I...

TruTrak ADI by
nimbus
Has someone experience with the Trutrak ADI?
Please do not confuse with the T&B. I should like to have a feedback
about pragmatic experience with the ADI.
I read the previous Google posts about the Trutrak but they are
becoming relatively old now and no experience about the ADI...

Stan Smith Delaware State Records (USA) by
Ken Kochanski (KK)
Hi,
I'm trying to reconstruct some Delaware State records for Stan
Smith ... I'm researching through a couple of sources and thought I
could put a query out here as well.
Stan was flying a Mini Nimbus and apparently did a 186 mile flight
that was good for a DE state record ... and I'm thinking it...
