LX20 security code-solved by
Ken Ward
I have a LX20 which produced the "invalid security code" after I opened
it to replace the very old watch battery. Filser uses a micro switch to
detect case opening, in this product.
Paul Remde at Cumulus Soaring promptly responded to my request for help,
and procured the program from Filser to...

On May 6 in Mifflin, PA 2 SZD 55-1 flew over 1000 km on the

3 minutes before sunset in open field. Way to go SZD 55 pilots. Take a

In a web search, I came across some great pictures of the Sierras south
of Yosemite, taken from the ground of areas where some of us soar.
These are at

and the ones of particular interest to me were the the fourth (Lake

where to buy a small Crank? by
Udo Rumpf
I am planning to modify my ASW24 seat.
I would like to make the pitch adjustable.
I like the little crank arrangement in the ASW27.
Has anybody seen the thing when not installed.
Which industrial supplier would carry something similar?
Maybe it is custom made for the 27, but I doubt it.

Dittel FSG-71M LCD by
Marc Ramsey
I have a circa '92 Dittel FSG-71M in a newly purchased glider which
works fine, except that the LCD is in bad shape. The digits are barely
readable due to lack of contrast, the LCD glass looks to have sustained
some sort of damage. Has anyone replaced one of these?

WTB: Borgelt B50 w/analog display by
sssarah
Hello all,
Does anyone have a B50 for sale with the old style analog display? This 57mm meter has a 0-centered needle, and a rectangular bar meter inside the dial.
Ideally, I'd like just the meter, so here is an opportunity to sell a broken B50!

ELT Questions by
[email protected]
I have never had an ELT in my sailplane but now have need for one. I
have two questions for the group.
1. Which brand/model is most popular for sailplanes?
2. What is the typical type antenna and placement in a carbon fiber
fuselage?
Thanks in advance for advice.
