Google Earth Question by
john smith[_2_]
Is it possible to build an automated flight path file for download onto
Google Earth?
An example would be patch and altitude for the RIPON Arrival into KOSH.
If Google ever gets around to upadating that area to high res, it would
be a good addition to the AirVenture website for those who do not...

FAA: FUNDING TIED TO MODERNIZATION
The FAA must implement changes to the way it is funded before it
can afford to embrace the myriad technologies that are envisioned
for the Next Generation Air Transportation System, according to
senior FAA staffers. Appearing before the Senate...

AOPA Truthsquad by

As a public service, I have again reviewed Boyer's testimony to
Congress.
At .49 minutes in, he says he has "never seen such a distortion"
regarding the funding crisis, which he thinks is fictious. For the
Destroyer to talk about "distortions" is laughable on its face. Why
does he never mention...

working for flying by
JA_MORAN
I had a job as a computer unix administrator with an electronics company
near the airport. I was able to take flying lessons before or after work
as the work site was about 2 blocks from the FBO...
The company did some reorganizing and budget cuts including eliminating
funding for my position.....

Slighty OT-A Cruise Missille In Flight by
RL Anderson
Hi Folks,
First off, apologize for the long URLs.
Was visiting a geek site the other day, and ran across a really cool
shot. It is a shot of a cruise missile in flight. The addy for this
shot, located on Google maps, is as follows:

Pilot and Radio related books. by

VE5JL.com is back on line with a new look. Over the years (since 1999)
VE5JL.com has provided radio related information. After being asked over and
over to have the information in printed form, VE5JL.com is now into
publishing books related to Radio and Aviation.
Take a look here to see our...

Positive press (and first flight in months...) by
Bob Martin
So I was flipping through the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation today... and I saw an
article about aviation. More specifically, it was in their weekly News for Kids section.
It basically talked about general aviation in Georgia, in a positive light, and spread
word about the Young Eagles...

Flying Clubs near Paris by
Eric Bartsch
I'll be working in Paris in a couple of weeks and I've got a weekend
day off. I was thinking of finding a local flying club that has some
sort of day membership so I can join & take a flight with an
instructor. I've done this in other parts of the world and it has been
a great way to see the local...

Kings Island by
Jose
On the Cincinatti TAC, Kings Island amusement park is depicted with a
drawing of what looks like the Eiffel Tower. My flight path was to be
right over it, but I was vectored thirty miles away, so did not get to
see it. My question is, other than the visual effect, why isn't there a
regular...

I just wanted to know.
For those of you still participating in thread segments with Mxsmanic, how
does it feel to be played like a violin?
Sad.
