Hilton
Hi,
OK, you have to be pretty brain dead to live in Florida, fly near Pad 39B
and not know something is going to, or even may happen.

Interesting podcast by
George Patterson
Heard about a pilot podcast on NPR and decided to check it out. I think it's
pretty good. It's a bit slow, though. You people with dialup connections might
not be able to handle it.

Anyplace great airport around Baltimore to camp at? Also, are their any

Dacron vs. polyfiber etc. by
Adam Aulick
What are the relative advantages and disadvantages of "normal" modern
fabric coverings (doped and painted polyfiber) vs. the stitched,
zippered sailcloth coverings (dacron, others?) on many ultralights and
new LSA airplanes? How are the sailcloth coverings attached?
The Aventura 2-place homebuilt...

Jay Beckman
Hey All...
I'm considering applying to join an area flying club and I'd really like to
get some thoughts on the subject, Positives and Negatives...
So, what works and what doesn't in "Club Flying"?
TIA,

CAP vs. GC Aux by
Robert M. Gary
I'm still pretty new in CAP. One thing I've realized is that it takes
at least a year or two before you can actually fly missions. There are
lots and lots and lots of training courses and certifications you much
receive first.
I've also noticed that we have a Coast Guard Auxiliary in...

CAP Orientation Pilot? by
Robert M. Gary
Apparently there is an on-line test you must take before you take your
Form-5 ride to be allowed to fly cadets or AF ROTC. Where is the manual
that I need to study for this test?
Thanks!

Placerville (KPVF) Looking for a ride by
Dave
Howdy,
I live right next door to Placerville Airport (KPVF). I can literally walk
there.
I'm looking to avoid a 2 1/2 hour drive to Reno, and see if I can get a
lift from one of you pilots heading that way one of these weekends. It will
be just my girlfriend and I, probably leaving a Friday...

Auburn, CA? by
[email protected]
Anybody wanna give me a pirep on Auburn? It's not impossible that I
might be moving that direction from the midwest...
How's the airport "climate"? How is the FBO? Hangars available? Is
there a group of airport regulars that hang around, or is it all just
business?
Thanks!

Will anyone from this newsgroup be there? Or was there in previous
