looking for NRP, the bifilar absorber expert by
Fly
I sent you a private message to ask a question but your email bounced back
as suspended.
I wanted to ask about aviation engines, what symptoms may be displayed when
the bushings are worn excessivly, and if there is a technique to measure
this besides using torsion measuring instruments.
I wanted...

easy money in 30 days by

MAKING MONEY I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it. A
little while back, I was browsing through newsgroups and came across an
article similar to this that said you could make thousands of dollars
within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought,
"Yeah right,...

IFR w/pax under Single-Pilot/Single Aircraft 135 by
Bravo8500
Anybody know what the limitations are on flying IFR with passengers in
a single-engine under a single-pilot, single-aircraft part 135 cert?
Thanks for any info, I can't glean it from reading part 135.

Starting Problem Question by
Ron Rosenfeld
Friday AM I was unable to start my Mooney: 1965 M20E; Lycoming IO360A1A;
Slick Magnetos; Starter Vibrator; Bendix ignition/starter switch.
The engine would turn, and fuel would flow (actually dripped out onto the
ground after a while), but no sign of "fire".
Subsequent troubleshooting revealed...

WI airport closure by
Mike Spera
The letter is nice, but you might consider a little stronger approach if
you are a voting resident. Tell the council chief and/or the members
WIIFM (What's in it for me - or in this case... them). If these are
elected officials who wish to stay elected officials (and most do), you
might approach...

Question of Location... by
Robbie S.
I am a student pilot with about 60 hours starting out on x-country work
right now. I recently bought a C182 Skylane and decided to keep it at an
airport that is 18 NM from my training airport for the simple reason that
the monthly cost of the hanger rental was $155 cheaper. I asked my CFI to
let...

WI airport closure by
Jay Honeck
The village of Grantsburg, WI is considering closing their public
municipal
airport.
Does Grantsburg have a local AOPA rep? If not, someone there needs to
step up to the plate and become one. AOPA has a lot of clout that can
be brought to bear on Federal, State and local officials in these...

roll servo location in Aztec by
Jim Burns
Wondering if anybody knows the normal location of the roll servo for an
S-Tec autopilot in an Aztec. We're having some roll oscillation problems
and we'd like to examine the electrical connections and the motor brushes if
possible.
Thanks
Jim

PIREP Extreme Simple Green Aviaiton cleaner by
Mike Rapoport
I was given a bottle of this stuff at NBAA and today I tried it out for the
first time. The "problem cleaning" areas on a MU-2 are the outer portions
of the horizontal stabilizer. The grime is a combination of carbon from the
exhaust, carbon from the starter-generator and prop-heat brushes...

Why not a hinged panel? by
Jay Honeck
As many of you may recall, we had the Skycraft landing lights installed
in our 235 last month. During our first night flight with them last
week we popped the 5 amp circuit breaker for the left side panel
lights.
This had no effect on the landing lights, which continued to work
perfectly (and,...

Replacing an ADF sense antenna by
David Reinhart
The sense antenna on our Cardinal broke right at the crimp connector
that attaches to the feedthrough insulator at the top front of the
airplane. This thing appears to be made of 18 gauge copperweld wire.
Since I still have the antenna and can pull measurements from it, is
there any reason I can't...

Suggestions for Organizing Aircraft Documents? by
CDP_bayarea
Pending completion of the pre-buy/annual inspections I'm about to
become 1/2 owner of a Cherokee. My partner is the current owner of the
aircraft and she also owns an aerobatic plane. My guess is that I will
end up taking over the record keeping etc. on the plane. Mainly
because I want to.
I...
