Purchase and Sale Agreement by
Dico
Hello,
Does anyone here have a sample purchase and sale agreement. We're in
the buying process and would like a standard form we can use so both
parties feel good.
Any links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Ethanol mogas by
john smith
I was wondering if it is possible to remove the ethanol from mogas and
thought of the folling idea.
Alcohol binds with water.
Get a big tank with a spigot at the bottom, fill it with mogas.
Add water, aggitate, let sit.
The alcohol ladden water will settle to the bottom.
Open the spigot, drain the...

Fuel Tanks C172 by
[email protected]
I have a 68 C172 with the 38 gal tanks. I do not want to put a fuel
tank in the baggage compartment. Has anyone done the mod to change the
wing tanks to Cessna Long Range tanks or AC Conversion Tech out of
Calif. If so how hard was it. Also I think that the Flint tanks are
too much work and too...

Need A Cable by
Newps
Does anybody have a link to a store that will sell me a cable with mini
stereo jacks, just like your Ipod? It has to have 90 degree jacks on
both ends, I do not want to get adapters. I need a short cable, maybe a
foot long but I can deal with a longer cable.

A strange richness... by
Jay Honeck
On our flight to Nevada, I was impressed with the smoothness and
car-like predictability of Jim Burns' start-up technique with his
Lycoming IO-540s. Jim had a way to start them that I'd not seen
demonstrated before, which I will describe he

Old pilots+insurance by
Tri-Pacer
What are you older chaps paying for insurance?
I just turned 68 and am wonder if I'm going to have a hard time getting
insurance in a year or two.
I have a pretty simple plane (Tri-Pacer) and at the moment insurance is
quite affordable. However I've heard some rumors that the insurance industry
is...

'99-'00 172R vs 172SP: R is good? or the weak little brother? by
XrayYankee
Just doing some looking at the difference, or perceived differences between the earlier (1998, 1999, 2000) 172Rs and the 172SPs. And besides the extra kW rating of the same size engine to produce the 180hp (on the SP) over the 160hp (on the R), I can't find much else different. (with the...

Using Ethanol in Your Plane by
Jay Honeck
There's a California fellow over on the Cherokee 235/236 user's group who is
using ethanol-laced mogas in his Cherokee 235, exclusively, and without
difficulty.
He admits that he *has* ruined his fiberglass tip tanks -- at something like
$3500 each -- but this has not deterred him from simply...

High Voltage Light On (Temporarily) by
three-eight-hotel
I recently took a flight that brought me back in the late evening
hours, and in a hurry, I was a little remiss in my checklist of
securing the plane after shutdown. Landing light, taxi light, strobes,
beacon, nav lights and transponder were all left on, but the master was
shut off.
A few days...
