Searching for specification info on Lord Mounts by
DonMorrisey
I am looking to get some specs, particularly dimensions of Lord Engine
Mounts, J-7402-1 and J-7402-5. I checked Lord's website but unless
I'm just not finding it, the info is not there and I tried calling
them but haven't gotten a return call. Does anyone know where to get
this info?
Thanks. ...

Jim Riley
This is a copy of an RFD regarding the possible removal of the
newsgroup rec.aviation.announce. Discussion should occur in

rpellicciotti
It was January 2004 when I posted this last so I thought I would try
again. I am looking for a set of plans for the Beachner V8 Special to
add to my collection. Someone has a set out there somewhere.
Also interested in plans for the Grove Whisper.

Magneto Repair vs Overhaul Question. by
Ebby
I was following the thread on Bendix and Slick magnetos and contacted
several repair shops regarding getting my magnetos overhauled. I got a
message back from one shop telling me they didn't overhaul magnetos they
only repair them. What am I missing? I don't believe my magnetos are
broken...

O.T. Crude Oil Flow by
olympusE1
I have an off-topic question I am posting only because of the depth of
knowledge (campbell and his assorted sock puppets aside) found on this
group is nothing short of amazing. That said, here goes.
Say, for example, I wanted to cut into an active, three foot diameter,
600 PSI light sweet crude...

Very long shot, I know, but - does anyone have any schematic or any
documentation whatsoever on a pilot controller runway light controller,
Model BX-2, made by Subil Enterprises, Inc., Des Moine, IA 50317? Can't
find any current address or phone number for that company. Unit was likely

taildragger to trike by

A couple of folks have built their Himaxes and Minimaxes as trikes. On the
surface, it doesn't seem like an overwhelmingly difficult engineering
problem to overcome. How deluded might I be?

HID Landing Light by

Other than the absence of a suitable mount (easily fixed), does anyone see
any problem with this light as a landing light?

I'm considering upgrading from a 50W Halogen lamp, and understand that I
should get ~2x the lumens from a 30W HID. This light has...
