PZL KI13 Compass adjustment / manual by
[email protected]
My glider came with a PZL KI13 Compass - it turns fine but seems to be 90° out of alignment. I tried to adjust it and found I could choose between 90 or 180° of incorrectness!
It might be because of the Borgelt B40 vario I put next to it so I may not be able to keep this setup. I didn't notice...

L-23 assembly by
[email protected]
I purchased an L-23 a few months back. I hope to fly soon. It's still tucked away in the trailer.
I purchased three wing stands from Wing & Wheels to assist with assembly.
Are there any tips out there to make the process go smoothly? I moved the wings around when we did the annual & they're...

Pin holes (again) by
[email protected]
After removing all the gelcoat, a friend recommended applying a very thin cloth known as Vail to fill most pinholes. We brushed on epoxy and rolled on the Vail, followed with thin peal-ply, then squeegee'd it out with excess resin toward the trailing edges of the wing. Not sure it worked all that...

OLC "Advanced" flight information by
Dan Daly[_2_]
I see a tab on the OLC Plus, beside "Standard", for "Advanced" information. There is no indication of what that is, or why it would be worth subscribing (The Canadian Soaring Association already pays $1000CAD/yr to OLC). Does anyone have a screen shot of what that looks like, or a link that...

Installing latest S/W on an ILEC SN10-B by
[email protected]
I have an SN10-B with a USB Adapter that has not been used for several years. I may have made it inoperable by trying to load the latest S/w and a Database. When I turn it on now, all I get is a blank screen akin to the "Blue-Screen of Death".
What are the right files I need to have on the root...

Is OLC Broken Again? by
Dan Marotta
Try as I might, I can't log on. Nor can I see the list of competitors
to see if I still exist.

FAI Ultralight Definition by
Tony[_5_]
Curious,
Sporting Code 3 defines the Ultralight Class as a take off weight of
less than 220 kg, or 485 lbs. Is this maximum allowed takeoff weigth
or the actual weight of the glider for that flight?

ASW-24 vs ASW-28 by
Kloudy via AviationKB.com
Appears there are some ASW-28s for sale.
Having only flown the ASW-24 and '27, what are the differences between the
'24 and '28?

SPOT pricing going up again... by
[email protected]
I just got notice from SPOT Tracking that they are increasing fees again for my next annual renewal. A few years ago, they added a "network fee" of $9.99 to my bill. That is now going up to $14.99. It looks like for tracking service, yearly fees will go from around $162 to $199.99. So another...
