Replacing TOST release at 10K activations by 150flivver
Those of you with TOST hooks, how do you track the number of times the release is activated? As I understand it, the mechanism has to be rebuilt when it's been exercised 10,000 times due to the main spring getting worn out.

Not a glider video but great video from the paragliding pre-worlds in Brazil. Remember this was filmed in Brazil so no need to comment on cloud flying. Next time you want to whine about gaggle flying with your glider remember this video Enjoy http://vimeo.com/86473511

You passenger is all buckled up in the sailplane, and you have pushed out onto the runway. The tow plane has pulled up in front of you and is ready to go. Just before you get into the glider yourself, you feel a little fart coming on. To save the passenger from the noxious fumes, you decide to...

Hypothetical Scenario #1 - Urgent Action required by OneTango
This is a voluntary pop quiz. You're circling in a 30 degree left bank at 3000 AGL. You hear a thunk and the glider enters a spin. Your practiced spin recovery technique does not work in the usual amount of time. You look in the direction of the thunk and see that the left spoiler is full open,...
