Seat Cover Recommendations by Jon Kraus
I was looking through the Aircraft Spruce catalog this morning and stumbled across the Aerosheep Australian Sheepskin Seat Covers for .36 AMU's a pair. I though that this would be a nice addition to 43H's interior. Any of you folks go this route? Any other recommendations would be appreciated....

Yet another PA-28 wingtip query... by Mike Spera
We've got some Madra droop-tips on our straight-wing -180. Although we've enjoyed their performance (good slow-flight characteristics, unchanged cruise/top speed), my partner on the plane can't stand the looks. So, we're looking to put Hoerner-style ones on. As far as I can tell,...

Penalitel anit-corrosion coating by Jon Woellhaf
On 2-11-82 my plane was treated with Penalitel (sp?) -- some brand of anti-corrosive glop. I can't make out the correct spelling from the log book. Have any of you heard of something that sounds like this? It looks like amber/brown wax and is still soft in places where it's thick. Too bad it...

Need help with fuel guage .... by Dave
OK...a 1976 PA 28 151.. After a few minutes of running, the port guage will start to fall towards E. It is showing 3/4 now (fuel at tabs), and will sag to 1/4 within about 15 min, while I am operating on the starboard (other) tank. Shut down for a few hours, guage resumes normal (correct)...

Aero Advantage Dual Pump by rdant
Am I the only one that still has the Aero Advantage Dual Pump installed? I see that the AD to remove the pump has finally arrived: http://dmses.dot.gov/docimages/p84/385862.pdf This is a stupid AD, in my opinion. The reason for the AD is that both chambers might fail at the same time. But, how is...

Adding a glideslope to a KX-155 by Brinks
I'm looking at a plane that has a KX-155 radio without the glideslope. Can I add a glideslope to it and get another head, or is that something that has to be built in to the radio from the factory? Any info is greatly appreciated! Chris

Repairing Fiberglass Wheel Pants -- Results by Jay Honeck
Okay, here's the final tale of the tape: (These are GPS ground speeds, verified either in absolutely calm air or in two directions. Probably not a 100% perfect method, but close...) Without fancy pants: 136 knots at 23 squared. With repaired fancy pants: 143 knots at 23 squared. This is a 5%...

I finally pulled my Mitchell (Edo-Aire?) vacuum DG and sent it off to Bernard Ducasse for overhaul. For those following the new vs. re-new debate, I'll let the group know how the overhaul turns out. After removing the DG, I covered the exposed ends of the vacuum hoses left dangling in the plane...
