Battery Power by
Mike McCarron[_2_]
Help!
I have carefully measured my current draw in my glider at .8 amp. l would
like to know if there is any reasonable explanation for why a 9 amp hour
battery goes from 13 volts open circuit fully charged to 11.6 volts in 4
hours.

Cobra trailer hydraulic jack refurb? by
Frank[_1_]
My Cobra trailer hydraulic jack is starting to fail, to the point
where I now have to put a 2x4 board under the jack assembly to get my
wheel off the ground.
John Dezutti (7K) gave me some hydraulic fluid, but there doesn't seem
to be a good way to add fluid. I tried, and got everything *but*...

Glider repair health issues? by
[email protected]
I have worked with fiberglass grinding dust and harsh chemicals like acrylic Urethane, lacquer thinner, etc. for the past 44 years, so I faked a chronic cough in order to get a CT scan. Just met with a Pulmonologist and got a clean bill of health! Heart, lungs, kidney and liver all look pretty...

Bob Youngblood
Our club is in need of LS-3A fuselage control parts. We have a damaged LS-3A fuselage for a rebuild project that was damaged in a hurricane. Sad news is that several fuselage parts were removed and lost. If there is a LS-3A fuselage out there please let me know. Bob, Treasure Coast Soaring Club

Protecting the stripe on Cobra trailers by
Eric Greenwell[_4_]
I've replaced the blue stripe on my Cobra trailer several years ago, but
it's starting to fade again. Has does anyone know how to protect the
stripe from sunlight? "Keep it inside" is not a good option.

[US] Standard Class Update from Cordele Day 5 by
Papa3
Monday was forecast to be THE BIG DAY, with strong lift to over 6,000
feet and Cu. With uniformly good skies, CD Andy McQuigg called a
3.5 hr MAT with a first turnpoint of Fitzgerald to the East. After
that, you were free to go wherever it looked good.
As it turned out, the day wasn't quite...
