Deadly week by Dave Nadler
Jim McCann was a hell of a great guy and pilot. We spent many happy hours together on the Drive Across America (otherwise known as Return to Kitty Hawk), including a few hours flying together in his Ximango from Las Vegas to Phoenix. Sadly last time we spoke was a few months back, and he was...

Power Flarm in a Super Cub by Peter Wyld[_2_]
Does anyone have useful comments to make regarding Flarm aerial placement in a Super Cub ? (Specifically Power Flarm, but regular Flarm also valid ) I flew a Super Cub with a Flarm stuck on top of the panel a few weeks ago and to be frank, it was crap. If you have an installation which you...

Sport National trophy MIA by Karl Striedieck[_2_]
I've managed to lose track of the US national sport class trophy and could use some assistance locating it. Last known position was at the 2013 sport national contest at Mifflin. The winner was John Seymour, but he did not take it home, and a search of the airport turned up nothing. It should...

Cambridge 20 approval status by Humphrey
I have owned a Cambridge Model 20 flight recorder for several years now. I have kept up with all the software upgrades to ensure it has the maximum features and functionality. None of these upgrades fixed some serious flaws in the software design, which I was not told about when I bought the...

DAEC Index - Help Needed by Papa3
Hopefully someone from Germany can help out. I'm in the midst of a discussion with someone about the handicap for the SZD-55. The debate is on what reference weight is/was used for the handicap. The table I see from the DAEC includes reference weights for many ships, but not for the SZD-55. ...

PDA's for sale by Dick[_3_]
I have given up on PDA's. For $100.00 you can have 3 1550's and 1 IPAQ plus docking stations: 2 for 1550"s and 1 for the IPAQ. 1 of the 1550's wont charge the other 2 worked fine last time I used them about a year or so ago. The IPAQ locks up if it gets too hot (as in Texas). Dick Mockler

Seniors March 14th by Gary Osoba
Very interesting to see Chip Garner in the 15m Duck Hawk winning the day in what appears to be relatively weak conditions. Span-limited in comparison to many of the ships with longer legs, he was nearly 10% faster in raw speed than KS, who is leading in a Duo. Gary Osoba
