I have a GNS 430 and a GNC 250 XL in my aircraft. When I switch on
both GPS, the GNC 430 will not, in the satelllite status page, show the solid signal strength bars even though the hollow bars are all showing good strength and the 250 XL works just fine. Does this have anything to do with the aerial? I have swapped aerials with the 250 - same problem. I also notice that on very cloudy days this problem surfaces but on blue sky days, the solid signal bars come back! My sw version is 2.13 and I have had the unit for 7 years. Has anyone encountered this problem? Many Thanks. |

Good morning or good evening depending upon your location. I want to ask you the most important question of your life. Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer.
