![]() "Jeff" wrote in message ... How many hours have you all racked up this year? For me, this year looks like it will be about 210 hours for the year and only about 4 hours of it I was able to log as actual instrument. Most of my flying was to airports 200 nm or further from my home base with the farthest trip being 1445 nm one way. BTW dont add in CFI time or flying 737's - thats cheating ![]() How about SIC time? :~) Started back up just before 4th of July (retook ground schools in June) after 13year hiatus. Did 31 hours of dual from July 7th through September 16th. Also, did 21 hours of solo to get ready to take my first BFR's ( Pvt, IR & ME) in all those years. Since then, it's been 66 hours as SIC and 9 solo for a total of 127 in five months time, only 30 of which is PIC, 11 under IFR and 1.5 IMC. (Sure helps when your employer foots most of the bill.) |

I've only managed to get about 25 or so in the past 12 months... and really, only about 1.1 of that is actual PIC... mainly I've been up flying with my dad, in kind of a "second in command" (he's ATP, I'm Private). I'm still trying to convert to our RV-6, but I never get enough time at once to get the landings figured out and get signed off for a taildragger. And now, he's gone and broken his arm, so I won't get a chance to fly at all until probably February or so. Hopefully, this summer (after I get back from co-oping at Gulfstream) I'll be able to get in enough flying to get signed off. I'm going to commute from home instead of living on campus then, so I can get some flying in. |
