I agree. They were going to pry win98 from my cold dead hands...I wasn't
about to give Uncle Bill any more money. But I bought an upgrade for $100.
XP is VERY stable. No more crashing and/or praying. If your not sure, you
can do a dual boot thing with both Win 98 and XP. I did , but just this
week deleted 98.

I had Millenium - the ultimate o/s nightmare. Couldn't figure out all the quirky things the
commputer was doing. Found that by also 'biting the bullet' and loading XP, the nightmares are
over and my computer enjoys sweet dreams now. Have not had ONE crash or lockup in 2 months.
With ME, they were almost hourly. Gotta give Bill his dues on this one.

XP may be the most stable windows yet, but it's VERY BAD news for

What, as opposed to the security in Windows 98?
