I own a Cr, and I was looking into the possibility of the open canopy
mod. There is a TM available from Schleicher that outlines the process
of building the open canopy. Unfortunately the TM-23 is in German.

The gist of the TM is that you build a canopy frame from the plans
(which are not available in the online version), and you need to close
off the rest of the fuselage when using the open canopy.

Peter...

Many thanks...looked up the TM and will see if I can find plans. From
Schleicher?

All the Best,

Rob

I sent a note to Schleicher in Poopenhausen to see how much the full
TM/Plans would be. I'll update you guys when I hear back from them

Got a reply from Schleicher. they will send you the entire TM, and
plans to build the canopy free of charge. The TM I have is in German
(not a problem for me), and I don't know if they have an English
version.

Drop me a note, and I can email you what I have.

Peter
