you could be very happy with an SGS 1-35. Nice bird and low
maintenance, rugged and fun to fly. Not expensive.

There's a very nice looking example of the fixed-gear model for sale on
Wings & Wheels, page 2. If I didn't already have one, I'd be going to
take a look.
