Default More ATC Confusion Near Phoenix

Mike Adams asked, "Did you end up going all the way to IWA or did they give
you a better vector toward Falcon?"

Beginning about 5 nm past the intersection of V190 and IWA R038 I got
vectors to roughly parallel R038 until about 20 nm from IWA over Apache Lake
where I was given heading 230 then, a few minutes later, heading 240 until I
was cleared for the visual about 5 nm NE of FFZ -- with about 3000 feet to
lose.
