Hello all, thanks for reading!
for part of his Avaiation Merit Badge, my son needs to interview a Commercial/Military Pilot, a Flight Attendant, and a Certified Flight Instructor. He has the questions ready to send to you. Please reply to if interested and he will e-mail the interview to you. All you have to do is answer the questions as completely as you can and add anything else you feel he should know. Then print, sign and fax back to us. The fax number will be included in the emailed interview. Thanks again, and I hope to hear from you soon. Any and all help is welcome! Pete Pemberton |

He has the questions ready to send to you. There are no interview requirements for the Aviation merit badge. If your son's counselor is attempting to impose additional requirements you should talk to him about it. If he will not listen you need to take it up with the District Advancement Chairman, and then the Council if necessary. |

Report on what you learned. 2.. Interview a flight attendant. Report on what you learned. 3.. Interview a certified flight instructor. Report on what you learned. 4.. Under supervision, perform a preflight inspection of a light airplane. 5.. ... While he's not required to interview people (and he deosn't need to interview all three categories, only two), he can do so to meet the requirements. We grease the kids through their badge requirements while also doing their YE rides. Have a hord of kids "preflighting" my aircraft last time to do item (d) above. |
