I think that the Opens were once won at Minden by somebody flying an
H301 Libelle. Does anybody know of any other 15m wins in the Opens?

Bob,

The top 5 were all Libelle's in 1972, with Gimmey's 201 the winner.
KM won the handicapped opens in 1988 at Uvalde in a Ventus
a15m.

Rick, thanks for setting the record straight! I knew it was a Libelle,
but I apparently misremembered the specific type. And I didn't know it
was so many. That must have been kind of embarrassing for those who
brought real Open ships and found themselves tied in knots by kiddie
gliders.
