Real men (and women) fly taildraggers and go through finish gates in
their sailplanes (not motorgliders).

Finishing at 500' is like kissing your sister. (ok, maybe not YOUR
sister...)

And there is absolutely no truth to the rumor of ASA Neanderthals
perrforming double formation low passes over FAA Designated Examiners.

Low pass patient zero must have been near Frederick,
MD in the late '70s. The investigation continues...

Flew in the back seat of YB (Nimbus 3D) today on the
ASA task - 135 mi. We finished at 1,000'! And it was
a cylinder!!!

Go figure.

66 actually accomplished soaring flight (twice!) Sunday at Silvercreek.
.5 knots to 3000', over an hour each time. Both flights culminating
in simulated gate (not cylinder) finishes.

Mental health trip to P48 scheduled for this coming weekend. Warning:
all unlocked glider trailers may have their contents subjected to a
spot rig&fly inspection.
