The other day I queried an approach controller to find out how well we
are doing tracking the airway centerline. He said his radar scope does not show the airways. I was surprised by this. Is this normal? I know that Center controllers have airways on their radar, but it appears that Approach control does not have airways. Is this true? |

They are not shown in the center portion of the display to reduce clutter, but it doesn't take too much imagination to mentally connect the segments that are shown. |
