Seeyou Desk top question by Nick Kennedy
I recently upgraded to the latest Seeyou Desktop. Question for those in the know: When I am creating a Task or after I have created a task and hit the escape button to save it, the middle of the bottom bar used to show the distance of the task being created or edited, now it just shows I have...

PowerFlarm Core and RS232 by Tom Roth
I'm confused about the RS232 feature with my PowerFlarm core. The manual decribes the interface as RS232 but doesn't mention the voltage levels. Is it the voltage levels called out in the standard (-3 to -15, +3 to +15) or are these digital voltage levels (0, 5) with the RS232 protocol? I see...

MIRRORGLAZE by John Firth[_4_]
For year, I used to use mirrorglaze for my canopy, almost every preflight. Then it disappeared from local plastics supply. Bought some online a year or two ago, used with good results. Yesterday, I squirted some on the PIK canopy and immediately started polishing. To my dismay some patches seemed...

Aircraft Booking System by vontresc
Our webhost just informed us that due to upgrade our current booking system will no longer be supported (developed by a club member who has since passed). Just out of curiosity, what are other clubs out there using to schedule Club planes, tow pilots, and instructors? Peter

Going to build a drawer for a 15M Cobra trailer with 14" wheels. How far below the trailer does the standard drawer hang? Anyone have there's nearby for a quick measurement? TIA.

Oxygen Mount Question by YourNameHere
I have a Schempp-Hirth Oxygen mount that appears to use an "M" size cylinder. 5.25 inches in diameter. Question: Steel or Aluminum? The front bracket that holds the cylinder neck, appears that it might fit steel cylinders only because of neck length, as it appears that aluminum cylinders have...

European Glider Classifieds by Kevin Neave[_2_]
Hi All on this side of the Atlantic. I tend to monitor the classified ads on segelflug.de, but the volume of items for sale seems to be less than it was a few years ago. For example I only think I've seen a single Discus bT, and no D2cT for sale since autumn 2014. Have people in Europe found...

New to soaring and I am a bit overwhelmed by all the different tracking options out there. ADS-B, Spot, etc. Which ones are recreational and which (if any) live tracking devices are used for OLC contests etc? Are people using loggers and then uploading the info for the contests or are they using...

Sacrificial layer for gear-up protection. by Bill D
Lets say you are deploying a retractible gear glider in a club with members who some might suspect of landing the thing gear-up someday. (Of course, you private owners never land gear-up...) Is there a way to minimize the damage when the inevitable day arrives? Maybe. One of my favorite...
