Flight not posting to OLC? by
GARY BOGGS
I posted 4 flights to OLC last night and one of them, the longest,
will not post at all. Not just no score, but won't send a
confirmation email or show up on the list. I tried changing the name
of the file, but no luck there either. Can anybody help me? It's
only 270 points or so, but I'm...

Deadly week by
Dave Nadler
Jim McCann was a hell of a great guy and pilot.
We spent many happy hours together on the Drive
Across America (otherwise known as Return to
Kitty Hawk), including a few hours flying
together in his Ximango from Las Vegas to
Phoenix. Sadly last time we spoke was a few
months back, and he was...

Where to place camera in Blanik LET-23 by
bob goodwin
Hello,
I am expected to solo very soon and i would love to have an onboard
view of the event. If anyone is familiar with the cockpit of the L23
(or not) i would love your insight on the best place to mount the
camera where it wont obstruct my view.
Thanks

Condor Plane Pack 2 ASW 19 Bug Fix by
Paul Remde
Hi,
The ASW 19 in Condor Plane Pack 2 has a bug. One of the instruments does
not appear on the instrument panel. The good news is that a fix has been
provided and it is easy to install. The bad news is that it must be applied
manually after installing Plane Pack...

302 not receiving GPS satellites by
Stephen[_3_]
Hello, if you have or used to have a 302, did it ever quit receiving
GPS satellites? My 302 will not receive and does not display any
satellite bars on the home screen. I have tried a different antenna
and still no joy. I'm thinking it is a send to the factory problem.
Does anyone have comments or...

Cheap self-rig system demonstration by
Frank Paynter[_2_]
Evan Ludeman (T8) took this video of me assembling my Ventus 2bx at
Wurtsboro last week, using my el-cheapo single-rig system. The video
has not been edited in any way, and assembly that morning was actually
a little slower than usual ;-)

Better example would be to use Stewart Airport, about 3 miles away from Caesar Creek. Just ask one of the AGL proponents to describe the radio...

Glue for wingtip wheels? by
R Weien
Any general recommendations for type of glue to use when attaching (or
reattaching, in this case) a wingtip wheel? Would like it to hold during
normal ops, but not require a power tools to remove at some future date.
Thanks in advance.

Aviation Oxygen Locations in Chicago Area? by
ContestID67[_2_]
Anyone have an address in the Chicago area to obtain aviation grade
oxygen? I have a friend who is having a heck of a time finding it.
You would think that some of the smaller airports handling executive
jets would have it.
Thanks, John

Status PowerFLARM for USA by
[email protected]
We are well aware that we have stressed the patience of our fellow
pilots with repeated delays and would like to apologize for this.
Here's the status as of Monday 16-May-2011.
First, the good news. The portable PowerFLARM is shipping to GA pilots
in Europe, with close to 500 already delivered,...

LX 5000 Compensation problems by
John Brennan
Our LX 5000 is set up for electronic compensation. Checked and double
checked.
Right now, we are running at 250% compensation, in an effort to get some
realistic output. This is not working accurately.
Our TE Winter vario is working well but slower, as expected.
Any insights/help would be...

Soaring Spot for iPhone/iPad by
Jelle Vandebeeck[_2_]
Hi,
After the success of my RASP iPhone/iPad application, I decided to
write a new one that is hopefully as useful.
This time the app will make it very easy to check out the results of
the ongoing competitions on Soaring Spot (www.soaringspot.com). The
name of the app is not Soaring Spot but...

Vario choice: LX1606 or Borgelt B500? by
Ben C
Thanks for your input Max. I am concerned by some issues pilots here have had with Cambridge 302 failures. I am keen to support Borgelt (as a local product) if the vario will do what I need. I have heard a lot of positive feedback on his vario performance and product support. On the other hand,...

Deadly week by
Bob
It appears the last weekend was pretty deadly for gliding in the
west. We had a gas-powered Tarus go in north of Durango, killing its
pilot, and reading other reports, there was reported a 2-32 somewhere
else in Colorado involved in a fatal during a check ride, and a guy
reported to be flying...
