Transponder: Mode-C or Mode-S? by
Morteza Ansari
I recently bought a new bird and need to put a transponder in it. The
choice was obvious (until I took a closer look). Trig TT21 seems like
a great choice: small footprint, built-in encoder, 1090ES ADS-B out,
and descent price. However a bit more looking revealed more questions
than answers. It...

Best 3 antennae combo for PowerFLARM? by
[email protected]
Going to try dual Craggy Aero 1/2 wave antennas on FLARM 1 and FLARM 2 mounted on both canopy rails just in front of the vent window.
If you are running FLARM 1 and FLARM 2 antennae, where did you mounted the 3rd FLARM short diapole ADS-B antennae?
I find many aftermarket 916MHz PowerFLARM...

Upgrading glider interior by
soaringjc
I have seen pictures of some very nice interiors on older ships. Where does one purchase new seat pads, interior fabrics, new panel faces, and all that kind of stuff. Mainly looking for upgrades for a Grob 102. How are most people upgrading or refreshing their interiors?

I put the fabric back in place with double sided tape. That has failed. (Possibly due to our colder...

Fixing longitudinal crack in wood canopy rail by
George Haeh
The new canopy retention bungee may have slipped through the eye hook or the knot failed. Fortunately the canopy was not broken, but the hinges had to be replaced.
Then we found a longitudinal crack. As a long time woodworker, my inclination is to inject Weldbond and clamp. Weldbond seems to do...
