Lark - do you know who has one? by
Scott[_8_]
I have a Lark IS 28 B2 and having conflicting answers to the proper
replacement Tow Hook to use for the glider.
I would like to find other Lark owners and ask them what Tost tow hook
they are using. If you have any relating information I could use
please let me know!
Thx
Scott

S-turns on final by
Jonathan St. Cloud
Came across a blast from the past on youtube. There was a video of teaching s-turns for glide path control. Looked to be from the 40's. Not sure why they would teach this when a slip would be safer and more effective.

How many active gliders in USA? by
Dave Nadler
Anybody know how many gliders are *active* in USA?
As usual, the FAA statistics are garbled (this shows gliders, but lists
all experimentals as a separate category, including experimental gliders):...

Bruce Hoult
On April 1 last year Wellington gliding club moved from their site of more than half a century at Paraparaumu to a rural site near Greytown, and at the same time swapped aerotow (Tiger Moth, then Cubs, then Pawnees) for a new Skylaunch winch. Both sites are about 25 km from the same mountain chain,...

AGC vs. ATC fuses in glider panels by
jfitch
Can anybody shed some light on why manufacturers continue to use glass (AGC) fuses rather than blade type plastic (ATC) fuses in gliders? Is there a certification issue, is it simply inertia? Automotive, marine, heavy equipment, and pretty much everyone else has moved on to the ATC style. From...
