[email protected]
Does anyone have a picture or diagram of how the cable is routed to the wheel brake on an LS-1? Currently the brake works but my A&P is positive that it cannot be how it left the factory. Im trying to not pay a one year fee to get a quick diagram of the cable routing. Any help would be...

Phishing Emails by
Bob Caldwell (BC)
Hi pilots,
I know we have been warned before about this but here is another warning. I have a glider listed on W&W and am getting emails like the following. The bad grammar should be a tip off, of course, kind of like my distant relative who won the lottery in Nigeria. Don't fall for it....

Egress from 1-26 by
KAIO
I'm thinking of buying a parachute for using in a 1-26. I was not able to find any instance of bailout from a 1-26 in the NTSB database. is is really possible, practicable, to egress a 1-26 in flight? Can the 1-26 canopy be ejected?
I know that almost anyone who flies a 1-26 does so without...

For the sake of convenience in getting started with using the Condor Glider Flight Simulator, I've compiled some of the currently available resources on Condor. Other than some compilation of information, I don't offer anything new here that Scott Manley hasn't already offered to the world after...

SN10b and Flarm core by
AS
Has anyone out there ever used the Flarm-core's GPS-out signal coming from the 9pin subD plug to pipe it into an SN10b? If so, what kind of a connector did you use?
I just don't want to run yet another GPS-engine if the signal is available already but not used.
Thanks,
Uli

Auto-Towing - why is this not more popular? by
Sean Fidler
I had an interesting conversation with a pal about auto-tow glider launching method recently. It seems academic really.
When cost is considered, auto-towing has to be far more affordable than even winching. Maybe $1.50 per tow, max? In aviation, the cost is always critical. Especially in...

A big Thanks to Rex Mayes at Williams Soaring Center for a replacement Plarm A antenna. I installed the new one and TG reports now seeing me at 6nm! instead of less than 1nm.
The original antenna delivered with the unit actually had a short, unknown to me as others reported actually being able...

Armand,
The CAI L-NAV has such an alarm built-in. It is a slow speed alarm that
sounds whenever your airspeed drops below the speed that you set it at.
I never used that feature as it didn't seem that useful, since...
