Blanik America wants $$$ for the airframe manual. Does anyone have a manual that would be willing to scan and send a copy of the wheel...

Does How a (Sailplane) Pilot Thinks, Matter? by
BobW
Thought I'd start a new thread, kinda-sorta forked off one "festering" in "The
Boy Who Flew With Condors" thread (which I re-watched last night for the first
time in decades; cool!)...
On the card is a Grudge Match between two (irreconcilable?) schools of
thought. Will there be a WINNAH?!?

Pribina Cup 2016 - Slovakia - Mid-Air? by
Renny[_2_]
Amazingly on the local news in Albuquerque, NM there was a report on a glider mid-air in Slovakia on April 2 at the Pribina Cup. On the contest website there was a mention of an "incident" and that all tasks were cancelled yesterday. It also said that all pilots were OK....which is really great...

Aerotow towrope instructions by
Paul Remde
Hi,
I am trying to find a good online resource with instructions for assembling
a glider aerotow towrope. I can't seem to find anything. I suspect that
every soaring club has a document explaining how they make their towropes.
I'd love to have links to a few on my web site.
Best...

FLARM - Which version do I need to be on? by
WaltWX[_2_]
OK, the first flight of the season here in Southern California with fellow FLARM pilots showed a failure to identify each other.
WX is on v6.02
JS is on v6.05
We both could not see each other's position. I though that as long as I'm on v6.xx, the different point numbers are not significant....

FS: Aerox Regulator, Cannula and Mask by
George Haeh
Moving from an ASW-20 to a 27 with
automatic hookups left me with a smaller
oxygen cylinder and last year I ran out on a
couple flights. Then a couple weeks ago I
knocked my cylinder over breaking the
flowmeter - $62 at W&W; so decided to
bite the bullet and switch to Mountain
High.

Excel IGC logging spreadsheet by
[email protected]
Had too much free time and I was bored out of my skull, so when pair-flying partner John Mittel (BZ) commented that he was having trouble finding a decent glider logging program that would process IGC files, I decided to give it a whirl.
Thirteen revs and a broken friendship later (just kidding...
