Oudie 2 airspace files by
2G
I discovered that there are no airports south of Cedar City, about 37 degrees. I have checked all of the US airspace files. Does anyone know where I can get more complete airspace files?
Thanks, Tom

Volkslogger Manager help File by
David Reed
I have the VL Manager 4.0 (English Version) as of several years ago. I
finally gave up as although the program itself was in English, the "help"
file was in German. I have tried Googling but have gotten nowhere.
Yes, I have tried and paid for See You but it's documentation is awful IMHO
so I am...

FS: Logger Accessories by
[email protected]
I'm clearing out things I no longer use, and came across some cables/chargers/antennas. All are working, to the best of my knowledge. Prices below include shipping within the continental US...mostly you'll be paying for the shipping.
1. Goddard Cable: Cambridge 302/GPS-Nav to Ipaq 3800/3900...

Soaring across US Canada border (and back) by
son_of_flubber
The FAA posts the relevant rules and overview http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/ifim/airspace/
but there must be some good stories. It would have been easy (from a lift and wind perspective) for a XC pilot to cross over and back today in Vermont. It must be tempting.

Need RF Quiet USB Power Source by
John Carlyle
Can anyone recommend a 12 vdc to 5 vdc USB power source I can use to charge an iPhone in flight that won't break squelch on my glider's radio?

More Montague blogging by

Hi all,
Add me to the list of Montague open class contest bloggers.
I'm sitting in the rear seat of JOY, like I did in the 2012 Nationals. I take photos and videos and write for a non-pilot audience.

Selling Micro-Castle/Pickup by
[email protected]
All,
I'm also selling my Micro-Castle camper and Ford F-150 pickup combination. As many on the contest circuit saw, this was a pretty nice setup for glider contests, as it provided a pretty luxurious camper on site, plus a capable crew vehicle. The camper has a full bathroom and shower,...

LiFePO4 Batteries by
vontresc
So I am in the market for a new battery for my Libelle. I was thinking it might be time to upgrade to a LiFePO4 battery.
Any recommendations/reviews from the community? I've seen people using the K2 and Stark Power batteries. Any preference between the two?
Thanks
Peter

Airfield Ratings in Turnpoint list naming convention by
[email protected]
I will be updating my local turnpoint list soon, I was wondering if someone has already worked out a system of turnpoint naming for landable places that might be short, narrow or somehow useful for some gliders but not 18m+ etc.
It would be nice to include fields or ultralight runways etc that you...

Region 9 day 1 Std Class by
Andy[_1_]
On a day when all but one competitor did not attempt the task, apparently due to thunderstorms, one competitor completes it and takes 1000 points. The contest is pretty much over. Are we rewarding the right behavior? Why wasn't the day devalued?
Comments invited especially from the Std class...

US Sectionals for GlidePlan now available on soaringdata.info by
2KA
On a recent business trip I spent the solitary evenings in the hotel writing the code to automate the production of GlidePlan sectionals. I must have been really bored or something.
Anyway, that means up-to-date sectionals are now available on my website at http://www.soaringdata.info. Go to...
