Compaq Aero and Windows Vista by
Dan Marotta
I can't connect my Aero to my laptop.
I have a Dell running Vista and it has no serial port, only a USB to serial
adaptor. Windows Mobile Device Center will not recognize the PDA when
connected. I suspect it's something with the Belden USB to serial adaptor,
but don't know how to check. All...

How gliders are made question. by
Andrzej Kobus
I just came across this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=I_atJwXxcrU
What really surprised me was that while working with resins none of
the workers have any respiratory protection. What are the resins they
are working with? I hope someone here could elaborate on this. I
remember 20...

Thread hijack by
Andy[_1_]
At least twice in the last month someone has renamed a thread to make
a post about a completely unrelated subject. Of course this causes
the original thread to disappear.
Is it that the hijacker does not know how to start their own new
thread, or is there a bug in one of the tools being...

armrest fastening question by
Brad[_2_]
I fabbed up an arm rest/control tube cover yesterday for the LH side
of the cockpit. It will hide the control for the flaperons and
airbrakes PP tubes and also work as an armrest.
I can use fasteners to attach it to the aft cockpit structure and to
the sidewalls of the seat pan, but where it rides...

Ridge soaring in Southeastern Oklahoma??? by

October is normally a month of strong winds and hissing rain in the

in his Glasflugel 304CZ glider! He covered something like 700 miles
going up and down the ridges after a launch from Talihina, Oklahoma!
This is impressive...
