Cobra Trailer leak, front end gasket, fix? by
SF
My fiberglass topped Cobra trailer has a significant leak when being
towed in the rain that results in good deal of water in the big
plastic bin up front. It appears that when closed there is a
noticable gap between the rubber gasket on the fixed part of the
trailer, and the movable fiberglass...

Vario pneumatics by
Colin Roney
Does anyone have a solution to the problem of having two `flask` varios
fitted with one total energy tube.
I understand, although I may be wrong, that having a tee piece split near
to the panel to provide the two t/e requirements is a `no no`.

What happened to gliding at Great Barrington, MA? by
Papa3
Was looking at some old Soaring magazines the other day, and I noticed
a number of badges earned from Great Barrington in the 1980s and into
th e1990s. So, I'm assuming there was some sort of regular operation
there for a while. Any ideas what happened to this operation?

Ridge Soaring Clouds by

Hi Gang
Maybe you do occasionally what I am about to describe or maybe you
have never done it. Regardless it is something you should be aware of.
Firstly a disclaimer. What I am about to describe may be technically
illegal where you fly and I am not suggesting you do it. However it
can be fun.

Performance Enhancing Drugs for Glider Pilots by
Mike the Strike
While browsing all the various international racing rules to get ideas
for our upcoming soaring camp, I came across the FAI's 39-page
treatise on performance enhancing drugs, including the testing
criteria.
As an old geezer who doesn't fly cross-country nearly as fast as I
could (some call me...

I recently was high bidder at a bankruptcy auction in Ohio for the
subject sailplane and trailer. I took a chance on it as I live 1000
miles away and only became aware of the sale some 20 hours before
closing. All I could get out of the auctioneer was it did not appear
to be broken! Got my bid in...
