Hudson River Opportunity by
Steve Freeman
Although I have not heard anything on the radio or TV, the NY Times
this morning pointed out that the pilot of the Airbus is a certified
glider pilot. I think this provides the SSA with a rare opportunity to
potentially increase our membership by taking the following actions:
1. Immediately...

mSeeYou and HP310 (USA) by

I've e-mailed Naviter for instructions on how to install/run mSeeYou

ring and can e-mail it to me (or post it here) I would much appreciate
it. (Extracting the mSeeYou SD install to a "2577" folder on the SD
didn't do the...

I have problem. I correct the aileron the wrong way at takeoff by
Todd
I concur with the other postings for windy day practice. It is a
great reflex builder.
You may also consider some training flight with an instructor doing
"un-assisted" takeoffs (no wing runner). It seems that this skill is
no longer part of the typical training syllabus, but is a good way...

Bowlus & Nelson Bumble Bee powered glider questions by

I have a 16mm home movie showing a test flight of the Bumble Bee at
Rosamond Dry Lake in 1945. I need help with 2 things:
1) I would imagine that Bowlus and Nelson are part of this movie but I
can't find a photograph of either of these guys so that I can ID them.
Does anyone know where there is a...
