B-40 on gliderpilot.net by
sisu1a
There usually seems to be someone that wants a deal on a B-40, and
they rarely show up used. It's 57mm, almost new w/paperwork, and the
guy wants 175GBP for it. Seems like a decent deal...go to
http://adverts.gliderpilot.net/ and click the classifieds option. It
will come up under the accessories...

What are the forces on a tied down glider? by
Eric Greenwell
I see gliders tied down in a bewildering variety of ways, all apparently
"adequate" in the owner's mind. AT one extreme I see multiple ropes,
straps, wing stands, and load spreaders, while at the other extreme it's
just a piece of light rope (barely more than clothesline) on each wing
tip. Two...

Outside our Box by
Kemp[_2_]
In the Sept 08 issue of RC Sport Flyer magazine, there are a number of
soaring focused articles:
- Dynamic soaring (pg 56). These guys get their RC gliders to over
300mph!
- Vintage Glider rally (pg 40)
- ASG-29 (pg 122). About 1/3 scale. It's huge!

Splitting IGC file with multiple flights by
Mike Schumann
I have a single IGC file that has two flights on it (I landed, and the
flight recorder continued recording while I was on the ground and thru the
completion of my second flight).
Is there anyway to split this IGC file, so I have a separate file for each
flight? Having both flights is very...
